Summary: A Very Original Book
Comment: Only a person who really loves libraries could have written this book about a disturbed man who wants to blow up the Chicago Public Library's Harold Washington building. Just look at the intricate way he weaves the footnotes into the plot; he must have spent a lot of time researching. As a librarian myself, I loved the plot, the setting, and the character of Eve Jablom. Nice to see a librarian portrayed as young and attractive instead of old and austere.

Comment: I thought this was a wonderful and fascinating book. Loved the footnotes and all of the interesting side information. It is a quick read as well as an enjoyable one. If you like intellectual information along with a strange plot with a twist, this is a good book for you.
