Comment: this book is ok for the beginner but i believe ther are beter books for the same price such as "tropical fish, the rising generation". the rising generation covers more species.

Comment: Excellent first, or only, book on breeding the most common aquarium fish. Its all here - equipment, temperature, diet, and other master's secrets. You are sure to have success using this guide. And the price is great!

Summary: Great pictures and highly detailed
Comment: This book covers almost 30 of the most commonly held aquarium fishes giving detailed descriptions on each covering feeding, water parameters (pH, dH and temperature) and of course breeding. In addition, there are several pictures displaying each species including fry and eggs. All in all a good book which gets you started right away.
