Summary: Good, but not Great
Comment: Overall, this is a pretty good book. It covers a lot of basic as well as more advanced techniques. The information is up to date, well written, with good photos and illustrations. The only thing that can be improved is more detail on more species. The book covers about 20 specific species and everyone will find something of value. Included are inshore, surf, pier, jetties, blue water, bottom, and shallow water species. Unfortunately, each species is limited to about 3-4 pages of information. A bigger book with more information on each species would make this a great book!

Comment: Alot of hype about this book, personnaly its alot of common sense, you would better of subscribing to the magazines and gathering information from there as opposed to getting it all doucmented in one book.

My advice check it out first before you purchase it.
