Summary: A Must for Black History Month
Comment: I've used this book several years ago with my 3rd and 4th grade students. They enjoyed the rhyme and rhythm of the short poems. They even learned about some famous African Americans in the process. I had to move to another classroom and lost this book in the transition. I've searched several teachers' stores to no avail. I'm soooooo happy to find it again.

Comment: This is a wonderful book! I have used this book as a teaching tool in my classroom for the past 7 years. The rap/poems are a wonderful resource in which to learn about famous African Americans. Since February is Black History Month, this book really comes in handy at this time of year. My second grade class will perform in an assembly and will use the catchy raps as part of their performance. This book is a must for all classroom teachers.
