Comment: I love this book, the wonderful quilts that were created and the very simple techniques used to achieve such dramatic results.
I was truly inspired by the landscape quilts in this book...the depth that was shown on how to make a forest look up close or distant...
the simple differences that give each quilt its unique perspective.
If you are interested in landscape quilts i found this book to be one of the best and most inspirational yet.

Summary: Landscape Quilts
Comment: I have been making landscape quilts for about a year and found this book inspirational in trying a new technique. Because it includes machine quilting, I was inspired to take a class. While I don't feel that I'll ever be the best machine quilter, I know enough to complete the quilting technique in this book. I am anxious to make my first quilt using this book. The idea is on paper and I am ready to implement it.
The pictures in this book are breathtaking and inspirational. Directions are easy to follow and include special "tip" squares on many of the pages. I highly recommend this book.
