Summary: Don't buy this CD-ROM version.
Comment: I bought this CD-ROD version. When I execute program, it always require CD-ROM insertion. I cannot use ths program without CD-ROM. And the design of the program is out of date. This CD-ROM was made in 1999. And even worse, the developer of the CD version program( VERSAWARE) was out of business. So I cannot update the program. I regret buying this CD version dictionary.

Summary: English As A Second Language
Comment: I am a tutor in an advanced English as a second language class. Students at this level have a terrible time understanding American idiomatic phrases. This book meets their needs quite well. The examples of the correct use for each idiom is particullarly helpful. Its relatively low cost is a major plus since these students are usually struggling financially.
