Summary: Be Careful - won't run on XP
Comment: I have this software for Chinese. It is fantastic software and I would highly recommend it. But be careful. I upgraded my computer to XP and the software will not load. It will only run on Win 95 or lower. Also the company that makes the software, is no longer in business, so no tech support (or I assume upgrades) is available.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful!!
Comment: I have the German version of this program, and I am very pleased with the content. A basic knowledge of the language is needed to use the program, as all instructions are given only in the target language except in the accompanying booklet, which gives translations as well. The program contains approximately 30 games in the target language, each focusing on a particular aspect of language review, such as prepositional phrases, verb conjugation, etc. There are 3 skill levels to choose from, and the games are challenging, but highly entertaining, offering a great way to review the language when you are just too tired to study for the moment. I highly recommend this for anyone who would like to make the study of another language a little easier. Especialy good for children and teens--if you can operate the computer mouse you aren't too young to play the simpler games. Some of the games included are item matching, following directions to a destination, working with numbers, locating objects in a room, identifying activities, etc. A wonderful way to introduce small children to a foreign language early, too.
