Summary: Sire has regressed as a thinker
Comment: Because of his failure to deal with certain questions, Sire found the need to redefine his perspective on worldview. However, he goes about this mainly by borrowing insights from secular thinkers, whose assertions are unjustified and unbiblical. The truth is that those questions that he wrestled with have long been conclusively answered by Christian thinkers, and so as a man known for his writings on worldviews, it is surprising to see how ignorant and incompetent he really is when it comes to the subject. Nevertheless, this book will doubtless fool many Christians, and make them adopt the secular and false ideas that Sire now unfortunately affirm.
At a time when numerous "Christian" authors are changing their originally correct position to compromised positions imposed upon them by non-Christian challenges, it is best to return to those works that have already answered the worldview questions in a biblically and rational way, and thus I recommend the following authors:
Gordon Clark
Carl Henry
Vincent Cheung
Greg Bahnsen
