Comment: I found this book to be of great use when I was learning to build my own first network. The concepts are right on target. The book seemed very detailed and focused on all the aspects of building a LAN from hardware to software.

Summary: Great reference for Beginners!!!!!!!!!
Comment: Although some of the materials in this book are now out of date (which it why it gets 4 stars and not 5), it's concepts are simple and easy to understand. I found this book to be very useful and informative while going to school and taking network classes. I hope the author comes out with an updated version with the current hardware and software (and prices) now out there. Great reference for anyone trying to setup a small network!!!!!!
