Summary: An incredible read
Comment: This book, and this is not a stretch of the truth, literally changed the course of my college education. I was political science major a few years back when I took a politics and media course. Professor Kerbel's book was one of several we read. Kerbel does a masterful job of what can be a dry subject. Kerbel hits all the relevant theory and still keeps the narrative moving. This book can be read by a student or someone with a interest in politics or the media. It literally changed the way I view media coverage of politics. Because of this book, I spent a summer at CNN and wrote my thesis on this topic. A tour de force!
