Summary: Outstanding Concise History
Comment: This is a wonderful work; well written and well researched with superb insights into events of the American Revolution that are usually ignored or only given scant coverage. The only real weakness is the book's brevity which does not allow the full development of the author's ideas or enoough detail on important issues. The bibliographic essay is wonderful and provides an outstanding guide to the sources on this fascinating topic.
