Summary: Just the recipes I wanted!
Comment: I saw James and Andrew teach at Sur la Table last fall and I thought their recipes were delicious! I remain particularly smitten by the old-fashioned brownies (with frosting!) and the gingersnaps. There are several other typical cafe recipes in here--biscotti, some tasty scones, more cookies. There aren't a ton of recipes, but every one of them is for something you already know you love--no weirdos. The book is beautiful and the recipes work--what more could you ask for? Maybe someone to make the coffee.
