Comment: The Fabled lands of Quest is a truely magicail book series. I was quiet saddened when I found it was out of print and I'm truely greatful to amazon.com for the chance to find the rest of these books. In the books you are a adventurebound travler (either a warrior,rouge,priest,troubador,mage,or wayfarer.) I loved the first two volumes the (The War Torn Kingdom and Cites of Gold and Glory)and am looking forward to playing the next two (Over the Blood Dark Sea and the Howling Plains of Darkness. In your adventures you can fight evil knights, cast magic spells, find your riches and of course sail the high seas. It is great role playing game and puts together the fun of the middle ages, high seas, and even some of ancient rome.

Summary: Fabled Lands Review
Comment: I am a lover of fantasy literature and art. I found the whole Time-Life "Enchanted World" series to be highly inspirational and enlightening. The "Fabled Lands" volume of this series, however, had a particularly profound effect on my consciousness. The artwork, first of all was fantastic, far beyond anything I had before encountered in such a collection. The illustrations convey powerful moods and draw the reader irresistably into the story. The literary content is written from a perspective that suggests a realism to the folklore. This I thought a very tasteful and appropriately reverent presentation of the material. If you are a lover of magic and all things wonderful and beautiful I highly recommend this book.
