Summary: Irish Coffee a Book to be Sipped and Enjoyed
Comment: Irish Coffee is the intial book of poetry by a man that has a unique respect and knowledge of the english languauge. Able to depict the horrors of war on one page and the joy of new love on the next, Jack Mahoney can paint the gamet of human emotion with the written word. Jack Mahoney went on to write a play, "Two Hundred Summers" two years later. His last book Credo, continues the lyric beauty of his first work, weaving a lyrical thread through such differing themes as war, family life, and his love of history. Sadly, Jack passed away in 1998. Dearly missed by those who knew him, his words shall forever sing through the pages of Irish Coffee and Credo.
