Summary: Leads Step-by-Step into Taoism
Comment: I have always liked Taoist philosophy and this book is a great way to learn more about it. It is set up as ten lessons that guide you stepwise into the ideas. All along the way there are exercises to help you experiment for yourself. The authors also offer insightful connections to help make it easy to apply Taoism to sll arenas of living. The topics covered, such as developing your true nature, wu-wei (letting be to do more)yin and yang, chi gung and internal energy, Oriental medicine, martial arts, enhancing creativity, dreams, are just a few of the many areas this book covers. I have never seen as useful a discussion of dreams and the unconscious with a clear sense of it from the Taoist perspective. I have incorporated many of the ideas into my own life and feel more relaxed and calm while also being more productive and creative. A very worthwhile read!
