Summary: Planning
Comment: This brief work on planning is very rich with information. Part I is worth the price of the book. It reviews the literature on planning from historical, cognitive, neuropsych and developmental perspective.
Part II describes in detail several studies relating to planning and helps to distinguish cognitive planning from every day strategies. Especially insightful is a section on the row of speech in regulating planning behavior.

This book is relevant to teachers, psychologists, and any psychologically minded person, especially given the ambiguous criteria of the ADHD/ADD diagnosis. I had to keep putting this book down in order to reflect upon what I read. Not a word is wasted.
