Summary: mediocrity in accompaniment strikes again
Comment: As so often happens in the world of accompaniment folios to popular albums, the book bears little resemblance to what is played on the CD. The result is a collection of sheet music that is grossly innacurate for both piano and guitar.
The transcriptionist at Hal Leonard has apparently never heard of a capo, which several songs on this album obviously made use of. The guitar accompaniment is often ridiculously flawed. For a painfully obvious example that even a non-guitarist would notice, turn to the second-to-last song, A Cold Heart Turns. On the CD, this is played by Rebecca herself, clumsily plucking single open strings on an acoustic to accompany her vocal. The result is haunting and elemental, peeling away the glitz of her usual overproduced Christian pop-rock sound. The book has CHORDS. Yes, boys and girls, ladies and gents, Hal Leonard renders this tune as being loaded with E5s and Bm/Es, when it's an amateur plucking E-strings.
Piano-wise, things aren't much better. I purchased this book to learn the accompaniment to Go and Sin no More. The intro is accurate, providing the correct notes for that melodic opening hook. For this reason, I give the book some stars. After that, it's all downhill. Hal Leonard seems to believe that giving pianists accompaniment chords for the left hand and the vocalist's melody for the right hand will satisfy all musicians. It doesn't. If I purchase a book, it's to get help in playing a song THE WAY I HEARD IT PLAYED. If I want modifications, I'll make them myself, thankyouverymuch. Give me the real thing.
This "resource" was a disappointment for both piano and guitar. Buy the CD, look up the chords online, and use your ears to figure out the music. This book is of no use.

Summary: Devoted.
Comment: Rebecca St. James is an extremely devoted person, and you just see it in everything she does, especially through this book. Things come from her heart, and it goes straight to the heart of the reader. Anyone who buys this book will come away feeling fulfilled.
