Summary: Great book for beginners or the advanced.
Comment: I have Scott Mueller's book (quite excellent, but hard to read) and one by Peter Norton (useless). I keep pulling this one out because it's the easiest one to find what I'm looking for, and by far the most fun to read. I hope this Graves charector writes more computer books.

Comment: I've looked everywhere for a book that had lots of detail, but wasn't too hard to read. This is IT! Michael Graves writes really well, and that's rare in the world of computer books. Most of them put you to sleep. He tells lots of funny stories as well as giving you all the information you'll ever need to know about computer hardware. You have to have this book!
