Summary: ****Excellent primer for busy exec or hapless PC user.
Comment:
I have been looking for a book that I could recommend to department technology reps as we plan to roll-out NT to Windows 3.x, Windows 95 and OS2 users. This book shows in beautiful simplicity how to do very basic things under the NT desktop.
I think it is an excellent resource for busy people who would simply want to review the very basics and get going without anyone handholding them. It's colorful pages made me want to explore each topic. I read the entire book in a matter of minutes. If I didn't have any NT background, I probably would have spent at least 20-30 minutes reviewing each topic.
It's only a 103 pages...it's a quick read. I can't wait to hand it out to our top execs and say, "Oh, by the way, here's a little book that might come in handy!"

Summary: Excellent primer for both the old and new Windows interfaces
Comment: In addition to helping the new user migrating from the Windows 3 to Windows 95/NT4 environments, this is a great reference for Windows 3.1 users. By illustrating common tasks side-by-side, this little booklet familiarizes the reader (user) with conventions of both operating systems. Clear, attractive illustrations make it a quick read, and even quicker emergency reference.
