Summary: An excellent scripture review for modern times
Comment: This book is wonderful for the faithful or those trying to bring more peace into their own hectic lives. It mixes the stories from scripture with a story by John Quincy Adams, George Foreman, or some other well known modern figure. Vision 2000 puts the "old" scripture messages into view for today. It would be great for group prayer meetings as well as the individual. You could even use it in Teen Youth Groups. A mainly Catholic book, I believe it could be beneficial to all Christian religions.

Summary: Excellent Scripture-based prayer book
Comment: This almost pocket-size prayerbook is based on the cycles of the liturgical year. This is the "A" cycle. I haven't been able to locate "B" and "C", but they are available somewhere. Each day's prayer starts with a Scriptural quote, then a story-application, and concludes with another quote - sometimes Scriptural, sometimes not.
