Comment: This book includes very interesting arrangements of some classic Gershwin tunes based on the related CD of the same title by Marcus Roberts. The arrangements are very modern sounding, but keep tabs on the melody. The book I bought included a 3.5 disk that included midi files of all the songs in the book. I found it very helpful. The arrangements, to my ear, are very good reworkings of the original tunes, but some of them are a little strange. Most, though, I very much like.
