Summary: Insightful- right on the mark
Comment: I must first say that, Bill O'Reilly is one of my personal heroes. He's a great man who is straight with you about who he is, where he came from, and what he thinks. This book is in the same style as The O'Reill Factor book, and both are just great. The Factor truly is a no spin zone, and Bill doesn't let anyone off the hook...he doesn't let anyone he's interviewing evade a question, or try to cover up the truth. The Factor is about the truth, and it's what this country needs. The book itself, like the show on Fox News, is insightful and at times, it can really make you mad- knowing how the government steals our money then basically wastes most of it, or how corrupt some people really are (Jesse Jackson cannot hide anymore!) Bill's style is personal, you feel as tho you're sitting down with an old friend discussing news and debating the issues. A wondeful book by a true American icon. The only bad thing? The topics at the start of each chapter are nearly the same color as the paper, and it's hard to read! That's the only bad thing about the book, no way you could wrong here.

Summary: WARNING: This book is dangerous...
Comment: ... it makes you think. I think that I enjoy Bill O'Reilly not so much because I agree with him on everything (I don't), but he really makes me think. This book is filled with pointed, pithy, sometimes slightly rude, but always thoughtful commentary regarding some of the most important issues in America.
A one-hour read, this book is not exhaustive by any stretch of the word. In fact, some people have reviewed it as too short for the money; I disagree. I think it is just that O'Reilly comes to the point rather well. It may just be that, when you cut past all of the fluff and feathers that most pundits stuff their speeches with, you end up saving a little space in your book. Not to mention a little paper. From my perspective, _The No-Spin Zone_ is simply concisely written. That's rather unique in a world of pundits.
A thoroughly thought-provoking, intelligent read. Oh, and this book is dangerous in more ways than one. I almost got kicked out of the bookstore when I was reading the chapter on the fictitious interview with Hillary Clinton. I would save that for a quiet corner in your own home, where hysterical bouts of laughter won't bother anybody but your cat.

Summary: how many coffees do you need to stay awake while reading?
Comment: I commute 2 hours a day and I like to read a good book with opinionated views. This seemed like the perfect book but after a while I realized i was reading it just not to stop half way (i like to finish what i start). This book started to really lose my attention and interest with its criticism of certain music types as hip hop (altho im not a fan) and their influences. Later on if anyone disagrees then theyre "unpatiotic". Geee thanks for that conclusion... So what did I get from this book... a couple of raised eye brows and a nice constipation from all the coffee i drank to stay awake while reading... umm no, not really!
