Summary: An Overview of the First Four Seasons
Comment: This book is a comprehenisve overview of each episode of each the first four seasons of SATC. Unfortunately, it doesn't offer much else. There's a little commentary from the author, but more would have been better. I could just watch the DVDs for most of the information given here. However, since it's all about SATC, I have to give it four stars. The small amount of commentary provided is interesting, too.

Comment: It is a well thought and thorough episode guide, however I didn't expect (or want) a review of each episode by the author. More often than not, I disagreed with the author's opinion and felt Smith completely missed the mark. Too much criticism and character judgement.

Comment: I love this book! It helps me catch the moments I didnt when I watch the show. Unfortunately it stops with Season Four...boo...but for what its worth, buy this book, even if you've NEVER seen SATC, you'll want to after reading this book if only to hear Samantha spew her hilarious lines.
