Summary: Super Good Book!!!
Comment: FIRST IMPRESSIONS is a super good book!!! I would give it 10 stars if that rating was possible! Wow! I stayed up until 3:30 a.m. finishing it! I don't believe I've ever stayed up that late to finish a book, but I just couldn't put it down! Great job, Debra White Smith!!! You're one of my all-time favorite authors! And you're just as wonderful in person -- I was so excited when I got to meet you at our Women's Retreat! I sooo look forward to REASON AND ROMANCE as soon as it's available and then CENTRAL PARK, which is to come out in early 2005 -- as well as the rest that will come out later. Your Austen Series is great! In fact, FIRST IMPRESSIONS even helped me understand Pride and Prejudice much better. Keep up the super good writing!

Summary: First Impressions
Comment: WONDERFUL!! From page 1 I was completely engrossed in this book. It is a marvelous retelling of a classic with an emphasis on the Godly values and morals that are so needed in today's society. The characters are developed in such a way to shadow their counterparts from "Pride & Prejudice" but yet in no way do they take away from that timeless classic. It was indeed a pleasure to read. Debra White Smith is truly one of the great current day authors and always a pleasure to read. Thanks Debra!!

Summary: Debra's done it again!
Comment: Up until 4 years ago, I hated to read. By chance, I picked up Debra's "The Texas Series" books and was unable to put them down until I finished the last one. All of Debra White Smith's books make me feel like I am "in" the book watching what is happening at that very moment. First Impressions is no exception. Debra is a gifted writer who is able to describe every detail to the "t". She is one of the few writers who is able to keep my attention. I have yet to read one of her books that are "cheesy". She is a very educated,intelligent and Godly woman and it shows through in her writing. Great Job, Debra!
