Comment: This is a wonderful collection of full-page drawings of -- just what the title says -- fantastic toys. "Fantastic" in the original meaning: "so extreme as to challenge belief." One of our favorites is a child's sled designed in the shape of a big white, wooly ram. The children are shown sliding downhill sitting upright on the backs of their sleds, holding onto the rams' horns for handles. This book should really be reprinted. It sparks the imagination.
