Comment: This 1992 volume while written for the physician is an invaluable guide for the lay person suffering from severe headache. It does require familiarity with basic medical terms and chemistry. The chapters on migraine, cluster and tension headache are particularly useful. Highly informative on causation and treatment as well as abortive and prophylactic drugs, their efficacy and side effects. Contains summation of a number of research studies. As useful as "Headache" by Neil Hugh Raskin, and more current. If you are plagued with incapacitating headaches this is a worthwhile investment.
