Summary: A Must Have For Inspiration !
Comment: This book tells Arnold's story in his own words. It is divided in two parts: the story itself and Arnold's opinion on how you should train. I loved reading Arnold's success story; it's a classical example of the American Dream. The book also gives an inside view of the bodybuilding scene of about twentyfive years ago. Once again: very interesting and highly motivating! Too bad that Arnold doesn't mention his use (or abuse?) of growth drugs. The second part of the book, where Arnold gives advice on how one should train, is unfortunately of low value to somebody who wants to know how to train for maximum results. Sometimes his advice is founded on facts, but most of the time it is just Arnold's opinion based on outright myths. Regard this book as a great history book for inspiration, not as a source of state of the art training information.

Summary: Arnold Is a winner and so is his autobiography!
Comment: Arnold swartzeneger was the greatest bodybuilder of this
century ,maybe of all time.This book is an account of
his drive to be number one in the sport of body building.
The first half of the book depicts arnolds life story. The
second half is on weightlifting exercises for bodybuilders,
as well as the ins and outs of competitive bodybuilding,(tans, music, posing and what foods to eat).
At age 16, After I read the first half of this book ,i was so
psyched by arnolds story that I studied over his routines in the second half into the night! I joined a gym the following week! I've bought many weightlifting books since then but i always at some time refer back to this book for motivation and the basics.
This book is well written and has clear instructions for the exercises. This would be a great buy for the for adolescent
boy or girl in your life!

Summary: Arnold Schwarzenegger: His Life Philosophy
Comment: This book enlightens the reader. It encourages one to reach to one's potential. Yes, the book is focused on the issue of body building, but it does not take much effort to think more broadly, and see to it that if you want to reach a specific goal, it is attainable. Arnold did it.
First, if there is one thing you will gain from this book, it is that people who want to achieve incredible things don't let anyone get in their way. Arnold's parents, doctor, and peers tried to give him the impression that body building was not the wise thing to do. Arnold had it his way, anyway. He never let anything get in his way, including a girlfriend he had in Santa Monica.
We all can have this drive. Incredible things happen to those who never lose sight of what they hope to attain. Having huge dreams is what makes America great. That is one reason why Arnold Schwarzenegger will become California's governor next month. An amazing story that should inspire us all.
Hopefull Mr. Schwarzenegger will write another book about his life that continues the saga from body building to acting.
