Summary: a breath-taking affirmation of Christian fatih
Comment: This exquisite book is a personal journey of such devotion and urgency that the power of the Holy Spirit seems to permeate the glorious color and vibrancy of Ms. Thomas' paintings. The reader/browser cannot be prepared by a simple "review" for the beauty and inspiration that lies within the pages of "Revelations" . When I looked into this book I felt like some intruder who unexpectedly comes upon a person deep in prayer and is unaware that she can be heard praising her Creator. Everything about the book is beautiful, from the unusual and original style of Ms. Thomas' painting to the elegant calligraphic rendering (by Mary Breeden) of the actual Biblical text of Revelation. It is encased in a lovely slipcover, which seems most fitting, because after one opens this treasure one needs to feel it is put away in something that will hold it safely kept, that will protect its stunning visions from harm, that will keep its gifted author's heart from careless tresspassers.
