Summary: A fast-paced adventure told with humor and style
Comment: I enjoy a good, off-the-beaten-trail type of western-adventure story that rings true and upholds the tradition of good over evil. The characters come to life on the first page and refuse to fade into the sunset even after you put the book down. This is an enjoyable tale--one of the best I've read lately. But you should read THREE ACROSS TEXAS first for this one is the sequel and while it stands alone, you'll find greater pleasure in it after reading TEXAS.
