Comment: This book introduces you to the world of the homeless and dispels the mythology that the homeless want to be homeless or that they are all drug addicts and/or criminals.

I like the way this book uses specific examples of homeless people and shelters and state systems to illustrate its points.

I understand the need to focus attention on the issue through politics, but I found it a bit discouraging to groups just trying to ease the pain of homelessness.
