Summary: A GREAT HISTORY OF THE MASKED MAN!
Comment: I first aquired this book about 20 years ago. I have always been a Lone Rnager fan, and when I found this book, I was completely thrilled. David Rothel has done a wonderful job in getting the facts about the Origin of our beloved hero. The interviews Mr Rothel did with the likes of Jim Jewel, George Trendle, and so many others who were involved with the creation of this great character, provide the reader with first hand information on how the Lone Ranger came to be. The pictures in this book show the begining of the radio show in a makeshift studio, to the television years to the big screen. The background information on how it was all done, keeps you wanting to go on for more. The detailed explanations of where Kemosabe came from, the origin of the Lone Ranger Creed, and much more, lend to some fasinating reading. This book tells it all for the devoted Lone Ranger fan. I am lucky enough to not only have this book, but to have it autographed by John Hart and Clayton Moore. If you are a fan of this great American Legend, try to get a copy of this book. You will be glad you did.
