Summary: A long commercial
Comment: I am new to HALT testing and was given this book as an introduction to the field. Hobbs does a good job of covering the basics in an understandable and easy to follow manner. At times though I felt like I was learning about a new religion instead of a new scientific method. His descriptions and examples are kept non-technical, presumably to appeal to a wider audience, and as a result they border on unsubstantiated propaganda. Still it is a reasonably good introduction, and as it is the only book on the topic I have read so far, I have no alternative to offer.
