Summary: So-So
Comment: Well, I can't say that I can really give an honest review of this book because I have not read the other Murder, She Wrote books, but I can try. If you want a fast-paced book that you can read in 3 days this is the book for you. There really isn't to much to this book. All there is a plot that will give some people a hard time understanding it, and the rest is time filling words. I have to say the author of this book should have skipped a few days in this book. The author tells us every detail there is, but since this is a mystery novel I don't want to know every detail and thought that crosses Jessica's mind. I knew what was going to happen at the end when I was 150 pages in. But if you like no-brainers, this book is for you. I will read the other Murder, She Wrote books with a hope that they are better.

Summary: O.k.
Comment: The Jessica Novels are good mystery thrillers but the crimes of Agatha Christie our much better. So to you I would read this book and Agatha Christie Books.

Summary: Jessica and Vodka
Comment: Outside of the stero-typed Russians swilling Vodka on almost every single page of this page turner, this book was a lot of fun. I ended up sitting in my favorite Chicago diner for about an hour finishing up this book, as it becomes such a page turner in the last 7 chapters that it is impossible to put down.
My first thought is to say "this is really a book for Murder She Wrote fans", the plot is spelled out nicely in the conclusion. This may put off some hard core mystery readers who like to "solve" the mystery before it is spelled out for them. On the other hand, following suit with the program, you have to wait until the end to find out what happened. This is what I expected, and was delighted with the book.
And don't be surprised that dead bodies just keep showing up...this is a Murder She Wrote story, Jessica would be out of business if that didn't happen! I think that MSW fans, as well as new comers will enjoy this fun novel by Donald Bain and Jessica Fletcher set in the new Russia.
