Summary: Well organized. Must for clinicians and students!
Comment: I was attracted to this book because of the numerous flow charts in each chapter. Treatment algorithms are spelled out concisely, plus each chapter also included text descriptions of each disease, staging, epidemiology like any standard oncology textbook. The flow charts helped synthesize my review for the medical oncology board exam. Plus it has a chapter in the end for some commonly used chemotherapy clinical protocols.
Standard of care is emphasized, and the book is fairly uncluttered and easy to read, yet not too simple. I wish they would come up with a newer edition though as oncology drug arena is expanding so quickly that an update on the topics is probably due by now.
