Summary: A diversity of views all lead the same way
Comment: Good roundup of various authors views/experiences with UFOs from the era of 1990/2 - put in good (non Americanised) English. Although not Tim's best work it gives such a diverse set of viewpoints it is thought provoking and with Tim's excellent final chapter, cannot be overlooked by any keen ufologist.

Rating: 5
Summary: An captivating mix of fact, analysis and extrapolation
Comment: A thought-provoking collection of articles and essays on recent (early 1990s) developments in the UFO field. Highlights include Jorge Martin's case for an extraterrestrial base in Puerto Rico and George Wingfield's discussion of the 1992 crop circle season. Those of you who do not need any more evidence to be convinced of the physical reality of the UFO phenomenon will enjoy several "big picture" essays. Hal McKenzie gives an astute, witty analysis of what he calls the UFO "denial syndrome" and makes some useful suggestions for political activism, John Spencer grapples with the conundrum of what kind of evidence is undeniable even to the hardened sceptic, and Dr. James Deardorff puts forth some intriguing speculation on possible extraterrestrial strategy.

Summary: If you're into aliens, here's a rollercoaster.
Comment: Lots of factual information that you may have never heard of: the Laguna aliens, frequent sightings in Montreal, etc. It has a plethora of information that can make you an alien expert overnight! I feel like I could go into an X-Files episode and hold a conversation. But it goes beyond just facts on aliens - it describes their effect on the economy, political happenings resulting from hysteria they caused, etc. My only qualm is that some of the different essayists had somewhat bland writing styles. Overall, a decent read.
