Summary: Great book!
Comment: This is a great little book about a frustrated little dog. I think my 1 year old is understanding what is being portrayed in the pictures. It also has other animals that she is always sure to point out. The simple phrases are easy for her to listen to and the book is short enough to hold her attention.

Summary: Captivates my 18-month old
Comment: My daughter (now 19-months old) absolutely loves this book. I'm not sure why, as I think this book is extremely dull and simple. But the fact is that this is probably one of her top 3 favorite books these days. The pictures are very colorful, and the theme is very simple.

Summary: What A Life!
Comment: A wonderful book to read with your children. Large colourful pictures in which young kids can pick out key characters. A simple entertaining story as the dog wanders around the park trying to find something to drink. My favourite part is when he looks to the sky in desparation and sighs 'What A Life!' - how true of all our lives, an epic theme!
The real wonder of this book though are the illustrations. Witty and original they offer something different in much the same way Richard Scarry or Dr Seuss had a unique view on the world.
Good fun for dads like me too!
