Summary: Don't miss this one
Comment: Every parent of a child with learning disorders should read this book. I bought it after reading other reviews and was even more impressed than I'd expected. The authors give a comprehensive report of what it's like to live with ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia as well as authoritatively presenting the case for a nutritional remedy. The book goes into the state of scientific knowledge but does so in a way that everyone can comprehend. The book is also written with empathy and understanding. It doesn't bash Ritalin but makes a powerful presentation in favor of first trying the LCP Solution rather than a stimulant drug.

Summary: THE LCP SOLUTION: The Remarkable Treatment for Apraxia!!!
Comment: This book is written in such a way that anyone, parents or professionals, will understand the importance of supplementation with essential fatty acids. It brings together years of research into one easy reading book, with case histories etc. I got so much out of it, and to this date it is one of the best books out there I have read that explains the relationship between apraxia, dyspraxia, ADHD, dyslexia, and all learning disorders. Our son has apraxia and had very few words. We ran this book, and the question of "should we give these to him?..." past our pediatrician, and he didn't know much about it, but he said the product is harmless, and if it worked, great! We then tried the supplements on our apraxic child, and they really worked, to where EVERYONE including his therapists and teachers noticed. It is amazing how they do work, and this book explains why! I highly recommend this book!

Summary: Must have for ADDers
Comment: This is an excellent book. The basic idea of the book is that there is link between lack of Omega-3 in the diets of people with ADD and other differences. The book offers research to help proove this theory. It also offers a suggestions on how to add omega-3 to our diets.
