Comment: Postman Pat delivers the mail in a little village in Northern England and to the farms and stately home nearby. On this simple basis, John Cunliffe has constructed a series of books that will surely appeal to all children who are old enough to understand a simple story, especially those who are just beginning to read for themselves. Both my children have loved Postman Pat from age about two and a half, and my nephew enjoyed him until about the age of 10. The text is well complemented by colourful pictures. This addition to the series fully matches the standards of earlier books.
