Summary: goldmine for financial and development economists
Comment: this is the latest book i could find on foreign capital. iam researching on 'capital flows' and i found this book extremely useful. it deals with flows of capital in developing countries. the good point about this book is that it deals comprhensively with the topic of capital flows, from its historical point of view to the latest trends , even touching the topic of south east asian crises. the only problem is that the general reader may find it difficult if he or she is not familiar with econometrics and calculus. nevertheless it is a goldmine for economists and researchers in the field of economics and particularly international finance, especially in the topic of capital flows. it deserves four stars from those who understand calculus and econometrics but two stars from general readers who will be able to understand the extent, forms and determinants of capital flows in the international economy.
