Summary: I really wanted to like this book, but...
Comment: I love reading about the hemispheres of the brain. I guess I've made more of a hobby of this than most people on the planet.

I really wanted to like this book, but...

...Many of the ideas don't seem particularly original to me. I've seen these ideas before in the work of the Justine Sergent (who died in 1994), and also Hellige, Christman, Peterzell and others. In fact, Peterzell wrote a fairly negative review of this book in the journal "Perception" a few years ago. He summed things up by suggesting that the key ideas in this book were not original, despite the author's claims! And, he suggested that the authors' not-so-original theory had many pitfalls. I agree!
