Summary: Opinion of a French Student who lives in the US!
Comment: This collection of sketches (reminiscent of a children's book), photos, collages, poems and quotes depicts French life and customs as seen through the eyes of a foreigner. It is obvious that the author is not a native to the country; while it portrays true aspects of France, it also conveys all the usual stereotypes. The description of these clichés is funny and makes the book enjoyable to read; however, the reader should recognize that France is much more than this.
