Summary: finally, something to do with that cute cube thing
Comment: Carl still hasn't published his magnum opus, but he's given owners of the ill-fated Cube something to do with their machines. Now, if he'd only add a section on serving up MP3s he'd have a completely indispensible book.
The section on Derrida left me cold, I have to say.
Rating: 5
Summary: No 'Sophomore Slump' for Carl!
Comment: Carl has done it again! Not since the second year of Suck has Steadman combined such a rousing plot with such intricate characters as in _Providing Internet Services Via the Mac OS_. Steadman's prose is so straight-forward yet sugary-sweet, it makes one wonder why they just don't cancel the ceremony and give him the Pulitzer right now. _Providing Internet Services Via the Mac OS_ is more than just a work of literature; it's a commentary on our times and a snapshot of the American zeitgeist.
I've never been able to put books down before. Never, that is, before _Providing Internet Services Via the Mac OS_.
