Comment: I am hard-pressed in how to rate this book. In terms of usefulness for me, this would rate one star. Others, however, may get a lot more out of it. This book basically takes you through all the menu items of Frontpage 2000. It does this well. The writing is clear and the book well illustrated. On the other hand, there is no information here you couldn't get through experimentation and using the online help. If you are uncomfortable with computers and want to learn to use Frontpage to do simple web pages, this might be a good book for you. If, however, you know a lot about computers but are new to Frontpage, you will probably find this book to be a waste of time and money.

Comment: This is a very poorly written book. Contains nothing but explanations of the menu items. Even then it is much less useful than the inside FrontPage help. Absolutely useless if you have a problem. I got nothing but frustration from this book. Wouldn't recommend to anybody.

Summary: Publishing Pronto
Comment: Frontpage is a simple yet practical program - and the same could be said for this book. It's perfect if you want to get a simple webpage online in a matter of hours. It covers the features of the program for easy reference in the order you choose to learn them. This is my second "Visual Quickstart Guide" and I plan to buy many more - there is no easier/faster way to learn the basics of a computer program than these excellent, concise books.
