Summary: Handy size with detailed maps
Comment: To be honest, we picked up a Metro (subway) map and a free city map and used those more than we used this one. It was just one more book to carry along with us. The size is handy and the maps are very detailed....when we got lost, we did use this map book to find our way to where we needed to be. I can say that I recommend it if you are not an experienced traveler or if you plan to do a lot of exploring on foot.

Summary: My constant companion in Paris
Comment: Middleditch's mapguides are the best I have used (I also have used his London mapguide). The maps are larger in scale than most others, which makes them much easier to use. He indicates bus routes on the maps themselves and includes a larger-than-most Metro map. He gives you everything you need to get around in a compact booklet--no irritating folding and unfolding. His commentary on the museums and sights is informative with a personal touch. I just returned from a week in Paris and feel like I couldn't have done without it. If you purchase only one guide to Paris, make it this one!

Comment: Complete -- with every street, passage and alleyway -- compact, easy to carry and use. Excellent index of streets, metro map, bus routes. It's perfect.
