Summary: The Handiest Map, but they need to revise it!
Comment: The guide has gone with me on 7 trips to London over 10 years and I have notes in all the margins. I love it since I don't have to stand on a street corner with a map spread open. It is a convenient size for a purse and it covers the cental portion of London, though very little of the outlying districts. It doesn't go north of the Angel underground stop to the North, Harrod's to the west, or Putney to the southwest, and hasn't been updated to include the Tate Modern or the Globe on the Southwark side of the river. I am now forced to buy another mapguide, but really wish Penguin would put out another copy of this handy little book.
Rating: 5
Summary: The most complete and useful street guide to London ever!
Comment: The large scale, easy to follow maps and labels make this booklet, in its convenient 5" x 7" format has served me well for several trips to London. I consider it a MUST for anyone going to this city.
