Comment: This book is an indispensible resource for teachers who have English-as-a-Second-Language students in their class. It gives a sensitive and knowledgeable accounting of how teachers can adapt some of the most common teaching methods and strategies to help foster increased language learning by all students, but especially those whose native language is not English. Many of the strategies presented are also highly appropriate for visual learners in general. I especially appreciated the focus on respectful tasks for all students.
