Summary: Gene activity in early development.
Comment: I have read this book a few years ago and it gave me unexpected background about the developmental biolgoy in very short time. Although the book seems little bit old, but it has invaluable points that must be known for eveybody interested in this field. As the title indicate, Dr. Davidson did his best to give the readers everything about the gene expression in early stages of development. I do recommend this book to everybody interested in embryology and the molecular mechanisms underlie these processes. There are little books that people interested in science keep in their library forever; this is one of them.
