Comment: This book is one of the best books i've ever read in basic histology. it's really good for medical students, Simple and straight to the point.
Every histologic feature had it's clinical correlation which is so helpful for students throughout their Predoc studies.

Summary: Very thorough book
Comment: This book was quite helpful for my histology course in med school. The book is quite intense filled with tons of information on each line. However, I also used the following which is also on amazon:

The second book helped prepare me for the type of questions that appeared on my exams. It's also needed because it helps you to focus on what is important in each topic of histology. It also proved to be a great reference for the histology portion of the USLME step 1.

Summary: The Cd-Room is great but...
Comment: The CD- room is user friendly and thats good when you have to study a lot and need something easy .. But The figures in the book never had the zoom or the Microscopy resolution with every slide in the book. And well Is important to know that kid of information specialy if you are interested in microscopy
