Summary: big ez
Comment: this book is a simplistic, well illustrated book about the fundamentals of a great golf swing. it is written by the player with the most graceful swing in all of golf. pay attention because he truly has a swing for a lifetime. i've golfed for over 20 years and found the book quite useful. he explained ball positioning and how to use the arms to make a proper shoulder turn very well. also, he gives advise that goes against the grain. he notes, don't keep your head down! what? yes, that's right and he's right! as he points out, think instead of keeping the chin up and looking at the ball off the end of the nose. this method makes the shoulder turn much easier. of course, as ernie's game illustrates, the shoulder turn makes the golf swing. this is a classic book on the golf swing!

Summary: Pretty Pictures
Comment: This book is full of pretty pictures of Ernie Els' effortless golf swing. There are chapters on how to drive, hit long and short irons, hit long bunker shots, and pitches. There are also shorter chapters on increasing distance off the tee and shaping shots. None of the advice is bad or wrong, but it isn't very easy to implement either, especially if you aren't 6'4" and as flexible as a yogi, like Els is.

This is a book about the full swing in golf. Full swing books are inevitably compared with Hogan's Five Lessons. This is not as good as Five Lessons. Nor is it as good as Swing Like a Pro. But the pictures are better than either.

Rating: 5
Summary: A "MUST" BOOK
Comment: The book gave me the basics of doing the proper golf swing. It was very helpful. Ernie gave his insights unselfishly. The pictures are good. I recommend this book to beginners as well as for good golfers.
