Summary: He Loves Me...He Loves Me Not
Comment: This was an okay summer read...if you've already read everything else that you had picked out to read. The story is fun and a little bit interesting, but how many times can you do the whole love/hate thing in one book!
Lydia Gold goes on vacation with her boyfriend Abe Bohemius. He supposedly dies in a diving accident and the dive instructor, Liam McNally, goes in to find Abe or his body. The two are thrown together in this semi-mystery. They are continuously hot and cold with each other while they are figuring out what they want out of a relationship. Their dance of will they or won't they got to be pretty old by the time the book ended. It could have redeemed itself by ending with a fairy tale ending...but they still continued the dance.
Read it, but don't have too high of expectations.

Comment: I admit it: I judge a book by its cover. When I saw The Dominant Blonde on the shelf, I thought that the book was going to be as good as its weak cover, but a stranger at the bookstore told me that it was great and that I ought to buy it. So I did. Best move I could have made!
Lydia was out on a romantic vacation with Abe, her current beau. When her boyfriend drowns during a diving excursion, she thinks she'll never find someone again, for men see her blonde hair and assume that she is stupid. But when she finds out that Abe has embezzled $3 million from her father, she seeks the help of a sexy Irish scuba instructor -- and gets more than she bargains for.
The Dominant Blonde is an engrossing and sensuous read. By far, one of the best romantic mysteries I have read in quite a long time. Don't be fooled by its silly cover, read this gem! You won't regret it!

Comment: I loved this book! I had read a little snippet in Glamour... or Cosmo... I can't remember. Anyways, I went out and bought it that day. It's a fairly light read and a pretty good plot. Not THE BEST book ever, but definitely worth reading.
